As you progress through the Landscape Contracting degree at Penn State, you begin to sink your teeth into the heart of the program. At this point you're finally past the boring, mundane, and repetitive filler classes that you were forced to take the two years prior.
Now, you're in classes that deal with landscape construction, plant maintenance, small business management, and a myriad of other core instructional courses-(finally feeling that you're getting your money's worth.) One of the first core classes I completed at Penn State was Horticulture 269 | Residential Landscape Planning.
This class by far has been my favorite. Although I admit, at the beginning I had my reservations, it evolved into something I was quite pleased with in the end.
