Achievements

Listed below are letters of reference from my long-time employer, the Shady Business Tree Nursery, and a Penn State professor of Horticulture, Dr. David Sanford.

In addition to my academic achievements, one aspect of my life that I take great pride in and enjoy immensely is being a volunteer firefighter with the Forks Township Fire Department. I have officially served with the department since 2003 as junior firefighter however, I have followed in the footsteps of my father and brother and could be seen at the firehouse at a very early age. The department is 100% volunteer as it is professional. The department serves a township of approximately 13,000 residents and is located adjacent to the city of Easton Pennsylvania.

The department runs approximately 500 calls per year, with the vast percentage of those being motor vehicle accidents. Over the years, I have taken many public safety classes and I am certified in the following: dfdf sdf

Fire Fighter 1 Pro Board

Structural Collapse

Rope Rescue

Truck Company Operations

Pump Operations

Heartsaver® First-Aid CPR/AED

Hazmat R&I

My experience in this realm has taught me a multitude of viable knowledge and skill that I apply to everyday happenings and situations. It has also taught me to lead and lead well; knowing that the lives of others could one day depend upon the decisions I make.
